                           TRIBUTE TO MY FATHER

this year ended on a tragically sour not for me  as many of my friends ,facebook, instagram friends twitter follower already know, my father Alh Shuaibu Ahmed kalu (gabari) , died on November 23,2017 at 9:15am Nigerian time. after a brief illness of abdominal pain which lead to operation, he undergoes enough treatment in intensive care unit @ Aminu kano teaching hospital but at the end we lost him.

although we have no records of the actual date of his birth, we guestimate that he was at least 70years old base on his recollections of and witness to major historical events in Nigeria and the world.

to live up to almost nearly a centaury is no doubt an uncommon privilege but I'am still in consolably devastated by the reality of his permanent corporeal departure from us. he wasn't just my father ,he was also my teacher, my mentor, my source of inspiration, my emotional and moral fortress, my biggest cheerleader, my heros, my everything.

Alh Shuaibu Ahmed Kalu (gabari) 15years ago he taught me Arabic and Islamic studies, to generations student ,including me, at his resident in my hometown, after retiring from his international business several years ago.

although he had little formal education, could speak, read and write in three language; Arabic, Hausa and English,a few years after his birth, he was taken to malam gagarah (gabari) 'islamiyya school were he had a qur'anic graduation which he is the best among eight of them by that time,

he made his friends proud  such as president Bashir Usman Tofa, Bature Mustapha,Hamza darma minister shamsudden usman, shehi abubakar  kabiru sani (SKY)to mention a few by being the top among the eight,

every graduate been, prize by emir with public takabir and applauses.

meanwhile he doesn't know his biological mother, because she died when he was 4years old ,many years later, memorizing the Qur'an , learning classical Arabic, and achieving of memorizing many books such as Dewani, Alburda, Taniya e.t.c

however  soon after his graduation he open a shop at kurmi market along yan'mota road.and happily got married, his first son was named bashir because of his strong affection to his close friend president Alh Bashir Usman tofa.

meanwhile he start gains a public recognition and become a business entrepreneur with so many skills he is the CEO of celchodo group of company and yau musa &son  Nigerian limited. the companies which specialized in exporting chillee, paper and gum Arabic to Europe.

he had so many business partners in Europe such as, Alfreed wolff 2000 hamburg, ven eeghen co, c.e roeper , kloston allee -74 hamburg Dr Ronnie's katir co. all of them in Germany. herengract1017, ca Amsterdam , excelsior in London , higher st. kinsenton young st. London to mention a few.

in his early sixty he become a chief iman and malam, the leader of majalisar shuhura in association of gabari dakewaye and also its his ideology that give raise to a new zawiyya of shaik ahmed tijjani na yan' mota.

he told me several time as a child that he wanted me to have what he deeply desired but couldn't have . he said he wanted me to get a bachelor degree, a masters a phd and shine a light on the world . "i recall telling me" don't ever ever think you always have to impress people that not the way the world works. and even if i'm not alive you most loo up my child " I can't tell you how much these words changed my life. they liberated me from the mental bondage of always want to be the best in order to impress him and the world , they also taught me the virtue of humility and modest expectations .at this junction I most ask almighty Allah to offer me a job that I can try my best to look up his childs as he order me to do it.

when I come back from alqalam university after my graduation on 26 ,October 2017 he express his gratitude to me, he was upbeat, chatty and usually prayerful, he told me I had made him proud that I was on everything that he ever wanted me to be, that he was a fulfilled man, that the "evening" of his life had turned out way better like the " morning" of his life.

well i'm consoled by the examplanary filled praiseworthy life he lived. may Allah reward him with jannah al-firdaus.
